OPC End-Of-The-Year Party


Friday December 1st, from 6-8:30 pm // The Thunderwood Gym, Sequim, WA.


We are having an end-of-the-year party, community meeting, and bouldering session. Now that we are not all outside climbing, we want to see all your wonderful faces! So, what happening!?! Check it out:
– Community Meeting and Open Forum
– Bouldering (Bring your shoes!)
– Snacks and Drinks!
– FUN!!!!

Come hang out, learn more about OPC and have your voice heard for what you want to see in the future! Its a great time to meet other climbers, discuss climbing, share send stories, arrange future gym meet-ups, and so much more.

How: Please bring a snack or beverage to share OR a few bucks to donate to the Olympic Peninsula Climbers. (Adult beverages may be consumed by any over 21 and may not boulder after consuming)

Big thanks to the Underwood Family to opening up their property for the event. Be sure to bring your shoes and appropriate clothing for a nice social bouldering session. Note that all attendees will have to sign a waiver, and attendees under 18 need the signature of a parent or guardian. Extra used shoes are available. Contact us to see if we have your size.

About: When the Pacific Northwest rains begin and the outdoor climbing scene comes to a close, we move indoors. Well when one door closes, one of our great climbing resources opens their doors. Sound Bikes and Kayaks of Port Angeles opens their doors and stays open late so climbers on the peninsula can congregate and enjoy some weekly bouldering. All ages welcome. Come out and boulder with your community!

When: Every Wednesday – 6:00p – 9:00p

Where: Sound Bikes and Kayaks, 120 E. Front Street, Port Angeles, WA 98362

Rates: $5 day pass, $40 for 10 punch pass, $2 shoe rental


During the warm and dry seasons in the Pacific Northwest, you’ll find a group of wonderful climbers out at the Elwha Crags every Wednesday. There are two crags, the Western Elwhall and the Eastern Waka Beach. Check out the Crags page for directions and crag info. We post on our Facebook which side of the river we will be on.
